Broken Road Garage LLC is owned by Jacques Breen, a self-trained master-level mechanic. Mechanical thinking ran in the family — his mother served as an Air Force mechanic — but Jacques built his own skill through discipline, hands-on work, and years of figuring out how vehicles work from the inside out.
His mechanical mindset started early: Legos as a kid, building models, painting them with detail, building and repairing bikes, taking things apart, understanding them, and putting them back together right. By age 15, Jacques was working on engines with his cousin Eric, then kept building experience by repairing his own cars and taking on more complex vehicle work over the years.
That experience grew into six years as shop manager at Car New, work at Classic Whips, and a mobile repair business started in 2021 out of an Escalade. Today, Broken Road Garage focuses on fixing cars the right way: foreign and domestic diagnostics, electrical problems, engine work, timing chains, major replacement work, brakes, suspension, maintenance, towing, lockouts, custom work, auto collision-related repairs, and practical repair planning.
